Michael "Tich" Phelan is the new Danesfort Intermediate Hurling Manager.

The Glenmore man was in charge of the Wicklow Senior Hurling team in 2009 and also previously trained Glenmore and Piltown.

Graigue Ballycallan on the verge of appointing Callan's Declan Roche as their new manager.
An outstanding servant for the John Locke's club over the years as a hurler and now secretary.
He trained the 'Lockes a couple of years ago with decent results .
A no nonsense type trainer, he will give it a good lash with the Ballycallan lads and a link up with Dinny Cahill later on in the year will be interesting.

Graigue Ballycallan still looking for a new manager. It looks as if they will have to convince someone to take the job from within the club.
It's getting very late at this stage.

John Leahy has been appointed manager of Windgap Junior Hurling team.
The Mullinahone man was in charge there a number of years ago.

Danesfort have finalised their back room team with Joe Tierney (who had a stint with St.Patrick's Ballyragget) and John Ireland joining manager Michael 'Tich' Phelan as selectors.

Ballycallan's search still goes on.

Thats interesting about John Leahy taking over Windgap. When did he train them previously?

He was traveling a serious distance to training so you have to see his point...fenians in 1st round I thought would bring him back.........the lactains boys have a little bit of cockiness about this fixture..they have to remember senior in kilkenny is a serious step up and the Fenians only hurled outside the top flight for 1 season since their formation,,the year they were formed and they won that junior championship,,,,,,,,,,,,

Graige's new manager John Meany going to do a better job than previous managers by winning more than the relegation final .

Dennis rackard Coady tipped to take up the post at Black and whites after a falling out up there. They have poached him away from graige.

Mark Power manager of Slieverue has applied for Bennetsbridge job after walking away from Slieverue

In relation to Mark Power and the bennettsbridge job...i believe he met with the players last friday night and his appointment has been welcomed very positively amongst the players. His reputation as a trainer is second to none and im sure he can be the man to deliver success to this under achieving bunch of players

Anyone know why Mark Power walked away from Slieverue after just one year, they seem to have a lot of young lads coming through.

i heard ballygunner have being persuing him big style with the last few weeks since ger cunningham parted company. i dunno if thats the reason hes stepping away from lachtains, it would seem strange that he wouldnt have a year with them at senior after getting them so far and winning the all ireland but i know he is heavily involved in a sports psychology business with shane sullivan and maybe thats taking up his time...

Is that the Mark Power that used to look after James Stephens underage????????? Not sure but if he is involved with Bennetsbridge is he the reason why they are supposed to be signing 2 Village players. I thought I heard that one of the players is away working and from Tipperary. I heard he was going back to his club in Tip. Anybody know who that club was. I cant even remember the players name but I think he hurled a few years ago with the village.
